I help people protect thier ideas, and represent clients in the chemical field, with particular experience in pharmaceuticals, transdermal patches, medical devices, industrial chemistry, chemical engineering, vaccines, coatings and films and formulation chemistry.  I have experience in drafting and prosecuting applications before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the UK Intellectual Property Office (UK-IPO), as well as managing global portfolios, and developing IP strategies.

I also have experience in advising on lifecycle management, developing strategies for obtaining supplementary protection certificates (SPCs) in Europe and patent term extension in other jurisdictions, and putting those strategies into effect.

I represent clients in contentious matters, such as oppositions and appeals, before the EPO and other national patent offices on behalf of both patentees and opponents, as well as advising his clients on infringement, validity and freedom to operate.

I have a particular niche in handling restorations and complicated priority and priority entitlement issues before the EPO and UK Courts in view of evolving UK and EPO jurisprudence.
