Business Description
My business is divided into two parts: after a long career on the staff of regional daily newspapers and magazines as a reporter, feature writer and features editor, I'm now working as a freelance writing features for the Bolton News, Manchester Evening News, "Lancashire" magazine, "Retired" magazine, national newspapers like the Daily Express and women's magazines.
The other part of my business is helping companies improve their media profile by finding the right angles to appeal to specific areas of the media, writing press releases in the format the media wants and distributing them to my wide range of current media contacts.
Being objective about your business and spotting the kind of genuine news and feature angles the media needs is difficult for most business people. My job is applying the skills honed over a thousand news stories and features to your company and helping you achieve the coverage in the media of your choice.
